An apple a day...

Keeps the Doctor away??
Well my baby Cray loves apples, and of course we have them all over right now. We have a tree, Nana has a tree and buckets full in the house. So he will pick them up all over and eat them. They don't seem to agree with him though, which is sad. Cuz it is so hard to keep them out of this kids grasp!
My little Buga loves to be outside. He will bring you his shoes all day wanting to just go run in the Idaho fresh air. I am dreading winter (more than usual) because I am worried for his sanity...and mine for that matter. If it were up to him I am sure we would be out in the blizzards.

Getting into the Halloween Spirit!

I have had a really hard time blogging lately...if you take a look thru my blogging history you will notice I have no comments. I guess nobody reads this darn thing, but oh well. It's still fun...sometimes. So if you are reading, feel free to leave to me an encouraging comment. Onto Halloween! Happy Halloween from the Heward Zombies!

I think it's on the movie Mean Girls where they talk about how Halloween is an excuse for every girl to dress...naughty...well It kind of is but it's so much more. It is a time when you can be anyone or anything and people won't think you are too crazy! I love dressing up and I don't know why but I have grown to LOVE HALLOWEEN...but I don't like scary things...I know it doesn't make sence. Well, I have been working at our local straw maze and loving it. I love being a psycho girl that can jump around and make people scream and run the other way with one look. Yup...i love it. I am sad it is coming to an end! Here is my weekly attire for the month of October.
Umm...ya.
A couple weeks ago, we had a Halloween Family night with lots of spooky food and carving pumpkins. It turned into a table of girls carving pumpkins. It was yummy and fun fun fun. I love Halloween!
Here are all the goodies we had at our family Halloween party. We also had punch with hands in it...ooohhhh...spooky. We had a good time!

Catch up post

Man it is SO hard to get going again after a cruise. Yes it's been a month and a half and I am FINALLY giving you an up to date post. Here's some happenings since the cruise. I will have another post too this week of our Halloween party! Keep posted...
A few weeks ago I talked my sister in law into doing this race with me that I found. I found it online on a whim and it looked so fun. It was at the national park Castle Park which is by City of Rocks. It is a beautiful scenic area and the race was SO cool...while quite challenging. At the end there were some sections where we ran up on rocks and through tunnel like areas...it was so fun. We got sweet light weight shirts and lunch. It was a great morning!
My handsome boys during the race. Before the race

After the race
Boys and their toys.

The Heward triplets! (not really) For those that dont know...all these kiddies were born within 3.5 months of each other. It is so fun to get them all together...even though at this point they just beat each other up. haha. Quite a while back...not sure how long...haha...we had some pictures taken before Levi left on his mission.
