Rock Creek Christmas Lights

So last night we went on a date for a drive up Rock Creek. I have heard of the place, and now am adding it to a place I would like to live! Amazingly beautiful canyon in the Idaho country. Well, we went to tons of Christmas lights last year in Boise...all the top amazing ones. This one beat them all. They have a huge lot with like a drive around circle with huge pine trees. Tons of lights, a huge Christmas city in the garage, and a camel! That's right...they have a huge camel you can pet. I have seen a camel before at the Boise zoo...but this honker was huge with two super tall humps and a huge main of hair...and fangs. Ya he kept yawning showing us his teethers. Unfortunetly all of my pics of the camel were too dark...we hope to go back again with our nieces and hopefully get some better pictures of Bull the Camel. Here are some pics of our adventure. Oh..it was SOOO cold. 17 degrees. BRRRR>..

SANTA CLAUS

My sweet boy. I can't remember if I have written this on my blog already, if so...TOO BAD. haha. Cray's new favorite hobby is singing. He has a beautiful singing voice. I put on Christmas music and start singing and he pitches in and harmonizes with me. It's awesome. He already has a musical ear.
Tonight we went to our ward party to see if we could catch Santa Claus...
Here is Cray Before the party sportin the hat. I have to say it is a good thing Cray wore his Santa hat. The heat wasn't working in the gym at the church...so it was FREEZING...but Cray's head was warm.
We ended up finding Santa...here is my Cray and Jolly Ole' St Nick. Ahh...first Santa picture!

Cray and Trevor

This is Cray and his cousin...second cousin i think named Trevor at Thanksgiving. Trevor's mom Clarisa and and I have pictures taken together a lot as kids...so we had to do the same with our boys. Thanks Patty for the pics.

Gingerbread House Traditions

Every year growing up we would go to my Aunt Nancy's house and make gingerbread houses. Of course they were out of Graham crackers, but it's all the same. We did this every year with all of our cousins on that side for a long time. This year I wanted to make a darn house again, it had been years since I had done it, and it just didn't feel right. So we had our first annual Heward Gingerbread Party. It was a good time with lots of candy and sticky goodness.
Henley working on her second house.
Nana working on her house.
Kurt and Kyles giant house.
Shay can never do anything "with the grain". Here is his igloo...flying machine gingerbread house. I am still so amazed he got that cracker to balance everytime i look at it.

So I have a picture of us smiling with our houses, but for some reason the goofy pictures always seem so much more...us. haha.
