We start looking at the cheap ones (I wasn't planning on getting anything fancy...just SUPER basic...like my skills. Well Shay starts asking about the fancy ones and pushing me that direction. By that point I wonder what the heck is going on? Finally I ask where all the money is coming from and he says...I killed a cow.
So what that means is we had a cow that wasn't going to make us any money (couldn't get prego) so we sell her for meat. So he used majority of his cow money to buy me this sweet Husqcarna Viking machine with lots of fancy stitches.

He loved the fact that it was a Husqvarna because I guess they also make dirt bikes, lawnmowers and chainsaws. So he tells everyone he surprised me with my very own Husqvarna. Needless to say I am super excited to FINALLY learn how to sew! I have definetly been feeling the nesting itch, but since we are moving after the baby I have been putting that itch to work with crafts, painting, sewing, and cooking.

This is an awesome chair/step stool that Shay's uncle makes. I bought it at the Heward reunion auction for our little guy. I bought the unfinished one so I could make it match his room and I got a little carried away with the design. Overall I am happy with the way it turned out.

Then I tested my new sewing machine on some pee pee teepees. I have heard mixed reviews on if these are even helpful, but I had fun making them.

My new carseat cover that matches the carseat. I almost did it in cow print, but decided I wanted something that I would like carrying around. haha.

Here is the guitar details on the carseat cover corner.
Thanks babe for the awesome birthday surprise! (The deal is I had to buy denim needles too so I can always be ready to sew up his jeans when needed. Hah!
