Valentines Day Getaway

For Valentines Day Shay surprised me with a Sun Valley getaway. What do we have to getaway from you may ask? Certainly not our adorable little midget?? Well...there is work, laundry, dishes, and sleepless nights. Of course the little tike did get left behind which was so hard...but it was so nice being able to sleep! My mom came and stayed the night with Cray while we headed off to relaxation.
We arrived in Sun Valley and just admired the beauty and how cool the Inn was. We checked in, went to lunch and then went to the awesome pool. 102 degrees of awesomness. We were the only people in it and it was so nice! Then off the choclate foundry (I love my choclate creams) and the little store for some much needed chapstick. Then we strolled over to the lodge for my 55 minute massage while Shay swam at the pool there. Wow...the massage was awesome. When finished the lady asked if i was a mom. I wondered what gave me away thinking of things like lovehandles etc. She said my shoulders were so tight that that was just her guess. Bullseye!
Next we made out way over The Ram (not like the ram that was in Boise...yuck) this one is right on the resort and infact connected to where we were staying. Best food of my life! I got the Free Range Chicken and Shay had the short ribs. We both loved our food and decided we were playing rich for the next few hours and ordered two desserts.
We went to bed early and arrised with breakfast in bed. I (I have always wanted to order room service) We continued to tease that acting rich for a day was so fun! We went for another dip inthe pool and got ready to head home. I had spotted some choclate crossaints in the bakery the day before and decided since we were rich and all that we had to get one before leaving.
It was such a great needed day of relaxing and time with my man. Best Valentines Day EVER! Here are some pics of our fun adventure.
